Blog Review ~ Aim: A Circle of Justice Novel by L.P. Dover

Aim: A Circle of Justice Novel by L.P. Dover

*~* STANDALONE NOVEL *~*

When someone asks what I do for a living, I answer it plain and simple . . . I’m a hunter. I hunt the dregs of society and I’m very damn good at it.

I’m Ian Chandler, FBI agent and a member of the Circle of Justice, an organization of justice seeking vigilantes. My mission is to solve a string of ‘accidental’ hiking deaths occurring around my Wyoming town. When Grace Myers –a woman who’s been missing for days –shows up on my land, it turns out she’s the key to it all. Someone is hunting her, and I make it my duty to keep her safe.

However, the deeper I get into the case, the more dangerous it becomes; especially, now that I’ve fallen for the woman I have to protect. If hunting is the game, I won’t fail. I always hit my mark.

Well I am a Circle of Justice virgin, and let me just say I am extremely disappointed with myself that I haven't read the other two books in this series.
This can most definitely be read as a standalone, so I didn't feel like I was lost at any time having not read the two previous books.
Ian & Grace have circled one another for quite some time. Grace not willing to go there with him as she doesn't want to be continually fighting off the hordes of women who take one look at Ian and decide they want him.
But circumstances change all that, when Grace is kidnapped leaving her workplace and Ian decides to involve himself trying to find her.
This story packs quite a punch, and there is so much going on, with all the action, suspense and intrigue. I was left on tenterhooks wondering who the person was that was after Grace.
Incredible story that kept me hooked from the first chapter right until the very end.
5 Stars
